Stepping Stones Education Society, a government registered body, was set up in April, 1984 dedicated to provide children an environment rich with opportunities for their mental, social, physical and emotional growth. A humble beginning was made in Chandigarh when a preparatory school was opened in April 1984.The strength of students was only 14. But this was just the beginning. Word spread. The dedication, the modern methods of teaching and the sustained efforts to help the child realize his full potential paid off. In a short span Stepping Stones School at Chandigarh established itself as a premier institution of learning. Today, school has two branches in Chandigarh - one in Sec 38- A and the other in 37-D with a total of more than 2300 students.
In order to spread wings of high quality education further, school has now opened its Pre-school in lush green and peaceful environment of Suncity Heights in Rohtak (Sector 36A) in vicinity of Rajiv Gandhi Stadium.
It is a known fact that children do their most important learning before theage of five, hencepre-school stage is crucial. It is a child's first exposure to a learning environment and the experiences at this age can impact a child for a lifetime. A good pre-school recognizes this, lives by this and with this idea aims to facilitate optimum development of each child.
Stepping Stones Pre-school is a child-friendly, safe, hygienic, purposefully-built, colorful,beautifully designed and well equipped Pre-school. Our clean comfortable classroom and various activity areas are uniquely designed to address each child's needs, abilities and development level. Studies have shown that day lighting has positive impact on learning in schools- students progressed 20% faster in math and 26% faster in reading in those with the most daylight compared to those with the least .Keeping these facts in mind, Stepping Stones Pre-school is designed with large windows so as to ensure good natural daylight.
